We moved cross country and needed to ship a car. I found the best price through AAA Transport, and the process could not have been easier. They were on time to pick up the car, loaded it quickly, and were off. Three days later, we received a call that the car would arrive in 2 days, which was much faster than the 7-10 days we were originally quoted. The only thing that I did not like was that the balance due to be paid upon delivery had to be made to the driver via cash or Money Order. This was slightly inconvenient, as we were in the process of moving, so it added one more thing we had to do. I had thought I could pay with the same credit card I used to leave the initial deposit. I wish they had told me this ahead of time. Would not have been a deal breaker, but I would have been better prepared. Luckily, we had the cash on hand, but if we hadn't had that, it would have been a huge problem as we were not told about this until we got the call letting us know the delivery date (i.e. AFTER the car had been picked up). Simply stating this on the website would have been sufficient, unless it is posted and I simply missed it. Also, our car arrived with some damage to the lower front bumper (large area of paint scuffed off). However, it was not something we cared to mention, as it is not in a noticeable spot, and the bumper is plastic, so there is no worry of rusting. I would use them again and recommend this company to anyone who needs basic auto transport.
